I personally see the value of having Walmart in town. They help bring prices down and encourage competition.
I do feel Walmart can help low income areas and that they do help the economy, especially considering we live in area that has 3 Walmart's in town.
One thing Walmart does need to be better at is buying things local, try to aim to be like Whole Food or Sprouts by bringing more food with less chemicals.
